I dive a bit. I'm landlocked here in KY, but we like to get out once a year or so. Sailing not so much. I get motion sick that can be medicated, but after a couple of consecutive doses I don't feel well anymore. I'm more of a 4 dive trips over 8 days of vacation sort of guy, with solid ground in between dives.
You might think Blackbeard or something would be a really cool thing if you like sailing and diving, but I'd warn against it. Diminishing returns and all that.
I haven't been since around '81 or '82, but Lunchstealer and I did snorkle at the southern end of Dominica. I was blown away because I could see stuff I saw at 35+ feet down off Key Largo, and I didn't get much below 12-16 feet.

This is a personal problem. There are very few personal problems that cannot be solved through a suitable use of high explosives. This is not one of those exceptions.

sailing can be fun, just don't make the mistake of owning a boat.
