I'll set it up now and post the league info and password here. I think it would be cool if a few non-baseball fans signed up, just to see how much better they'd do than the baseball fans.

Make that Thursday, which is the first day that Yahoo! is open for registration.

The league has been set up. Anyone who wants to join need to go to Yahoo Fantasy Baseball to sign up a team.

For now , it's 14 team (we can make it more or less than that as necessary) head to head league(like fantasy football) where you can change your line-up once per week(every monday morning) .

Right now, it's set for an auto draft but if enough people want to, we can do a live Java-based draft. People who don't want to live draft will still have their picks made off yahoo's master list or a list of their own.

Hmm...it won't let me register. That's understandable.

I think I'm all set up now. I don't know why it wasn't accepting me the first time.

Can I come out and state my preference with a live draft? I hate the autodraft because even if you make sure to order things correctly, you can end up with 3 catchers or some crap like that. But that's just me.

Even if there's only a few of us who want a live draft, we can still do it that way. We just need to figure out a date/time that works.

A Sunday afternoon would be good for me, as I'm usually not busy.

Any of those dates is fine with me!

Won't be home for the whole day? or just at that time? Later in the day is fine for me.

I might not be home the whole day, or at least I won't be sure what time I will be home, so really -- don't worry about including me. If I am able to make a live draft I will definitely do that, but for now maybe I will take Timothy's suggestion and just auto-draft (if that's possible).

I really don't mean to be flakey about agreeing to a drafting time, but lately my weekends can be very sporadic schedule-wise.

Everybody has a full roster now. There are no rules about how often you can add or drop players so if anybody wants to make changes, do so.

I don't yahoo will let you do that, unless a guy has a certain number of games at different positions. For instance, when Alex Rodriguez went to NY, you could have him at either short or third for the following year.

We could have set it up with two Corner Infielder and two Middle infielder slots, but that only allows you to have 1B/3B and SS/2B as interchangeable. That combined with the utility position could have allowed you to have Jeter, Eckstein, and Everett all in at once.

I've renewed the league if anyone wants to join. There are no stakes. Teams can sign up until Saturday, March 22nd. The draft is Sunday the 23rd, and play starts on the 24th. As always, the most important thing is to come up with a creative team name.

Dammit! I missed the draft. And more importantly, I forgot to sign up. I kept putting off registering, thinking that I would come up with a witty team name. But I should have known myself better. I never come up with anything witty. And now I'm out of the league.

That's the way I feel about Fox News.

Yeah, I missed it myself by like an hour and half. It auto picks for you for any time that you're not actually there, so if you did make some picks and not others, it would have the effect of a mix and match. Oddly enough, I wound up with a far better team in this draft than I got in the one I actually did live.

It's more or less the way I feel about NASCAR. If the drivers were armed and could fire at each other, you know, kinda like professional drive-by shootings, I'd be far more likely to watch.
