Please vote in the poll below if you are attending the Chicago Urko-Gryllicon the weekend of July 12-13. Rank your most preferred thing to do or see as "1st" and the rest in order after that.
Now that we have a semi-agenda semi-solidified, this will be most useful if we get to a point where a bunch of us are standing around saying, "What should we do now?" Then -- instead of a lot of indecisive hemming or hawing, or bickering -- I can pull out the poll results and say, "Well Activity X was the most popular according to your votes, followed by Activity Y, so let's do those."
Special notes:
1) Since we are all libertarians, I think we all should feel free to do our own thing sometimes if no one else wants to do that particular thing, and regroup later. But this poll will help us decide where the majority should swarm, for those of us who most value the social aspect of this get-together.
2) Not on the poll because I assume we all want to do it: A Barbecue & Bacchanalia at linguist's place on Saturday evening. Also, a Friday-night meet-up at a restaurant that Viking Moose mentioned, for those of us arriving on that day. (smacky wants to attend a concert that evening, and I don't know when it starts, but hopefully she can meet/eat with us before she goes, along with anyone else who wants to do that.)
3) Little Fyodor and the Babushkas are performing in Chicago on Thursday night. (See planning thread.) I'd like to see that but can't arrive until Friday, so I'll have to miss it. Others may be in the same boat. I'm including it in the poll, but if you can't attend, then just don't vote on it at all. I think this will count the number of people who want to attend. If the total popularity score ends up being low as a result, I am sure fyodor will understand that this doesn't not reflect how badly we want to see his band, but how few of us can make it in on Thursday.
PS: No, there is no "cannot attend the Chicago get-together" option. If you can't attend at all, keep your mitts off the poll.

Son of a cock-fucking bitch. Somehow the Dengue Fever concert and the Little Fyodor concert got combined in the same poll question -- and I can't edit these polls once I've submitted them.Fuck, I refuse to post another poll.
Since those two special events have a particular time window, and don't really interfere with the other activities planned -- that is, you can attend the concerts and also attend any other choice in the poll too -- just indicate in this comments thread whether you intend to attend one or the other, so other grylliaders can see who they have to get together with.

Oops, accidental double-negative. Unfortunately, I can't edit my original post/poll at all.
Wait, what the fuck? When I originally posted this, smacky's Dengue Fever concert was comboed up with fyodor's concert. Now it's combined with the RPG session.
ALSO: I originally had the Art Institute as one of the choices, right after the Museum of Contemporary Art. Now it's missing completely.
NO, WAIT: Now the Art Institute vote is combined with the river taxi tour! What the fuckety fucking fuck?
I now suspect that maybe this poll can only handle 10 choices or so. More than that mucks it up.
I don't know what to do about this.

AND NOT ONLY THAT:
- The Brookfield Zoo, Museum of Science and Industry, and Shedd Aquarium have all been lumped together. These are supposed to be separate choices.
- Ditto for the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Chicago Botanical Gardens.
I'm talking about the vote results/tallies, BTW. The vote entries may still be separate for all I know. But this will make it impossible to figure out who actually voted for what.
