Meh. The names I recognize, I'm at best highly wary of.

This is just not a bumper crop year for candidates I could bring myself to vote for.

Picking the next Libertarian Party candidate is like being an abused spouse fresh out of the shelter walking into a pool room and flirting with the guy with the most prison tats and the fewest teeth.

On this one, I have to agree with Eric and DAR.

I voted just so I could mention going to the convention last night! Well, heh, the vending area, anyway. And I voted for George Phillies cause we went to his booth and chatted a bit with the young fellow there who looked real lonely. The most fun table was the LPstuff.com's. They've got a great array of bumperstickers!!! Wake up and smell the fascism, etc. We were there about 10 PM on my way to my radio show so there weren't a lot of people there, but the parking was good!!

You had a radio appearance, Fyodor?

EDIT: oops, forgot the radio show.

Re: Who will you vote for in the LP Convention?

I do a twice monthly radio show on a "public" radio station playing homemade and experimental and generally very weird music (and/or noise, for those who don't consider it all music). I guess I brought up my being on the way to that to reflect the offhand (and late) nature of our visit to the LP Convention site. I generally don't bring up politics on my show, though on this particular one I did dedicate one piece I played both to the LP Convention and to the recently late Dr. Albert Hoffman, that being a very psychedelic (IMO) experimental piece that included a tape of someone talking about Dr. Hoffman's discovery and then about the effects of LSD (in an unfavorable light, actually).

fyodor,

Does your radio show stream over the internet? Or is it at least archived on the internet? If so, I'd be interested to hear it.
