Looking for neither a RB nor a WR, the Steelers wind up with Mendenhall in the first round and Sweed in the second. I wanted a guard and a CB, but I like what they did here. Top shelf picks.
I just hope Ben can survive one more season with a crappy line. If that guy they picked up at center doesn't work any better than that joke we had last year, he may as well have another cycle accident for all the punishment he's going to take.
Also, the secondary is full of munchkinlanders.
Still, we got good value. How'd your guys do?

Re: Teh Draft
Two WR, two QB, handful of O-linemen, but only two defenders. I know, I know, Favre is gone, and McCarthy believes that every position should be competitive, but two QBs? Come on, we had the 11th ranked D in the league last year, much of it due to the line. We've got a young receiving crew already, why not focus on the team's clear deficiencies?
Good pick on Brohm; Finley (TE) is another good addition, but overall I would rate our draft performance D+ this year.
I guess I'll need to come to grips that we've got one or two years of rebuilding to do.
Still, Go Pack!
This is not a signature.

Being a Lions
fanvictim there is one thing I'm sure of. I posted this yesterday at H&R.Edit because I'm a BBCode dumbass.
The sun is barely up and the streets are already filled with drunken Scots. That can't be good. - mk
Re: Teh Draft
Cherilus was a reach.
Re: Teh Draft
Two WRs and a tight end, um, we got a tight end, his name's Chris Cooley and he went to the pro-bowl last year!
We have holes on the both the offensive and defensive line. We need a safety to replace Sean Taylor. We need a lot of things, but two WRs and TE weren't among them.
Yeah, I'm talkin' 'bout the Redskins.
Re: Teh Draft
If your team is at least decent, I really think the first round our two should be the best guy available. Having an OMG hole in a position means you wind up reaching too far to fill it most of the time. The Stillers have remained competitive pretty consistently with this approach.
